Play Time March 29 2013

After working in the yard, setting up some more figures in the train yard I decided to kill a couple of hours before the weather went south, so it is play with the trains time. The clouds are building now so I am bringing the trains in. 

As I was bringing out the other trains I noticed I stopped the passenger train between cars to view the bay window of Victoria Station. 

These next two shots are for my cousin Duane Buckel.  Hey Duane what are you trying to do behind that door.

 



Back to the trains.

While I was bringing out the trains it started to cloud up.  I accidently parked the RS-3 under the tunnel and I thought, hum, if I get surprised, the power unit goes first but I park this loco under the tunnel. 

Now got them all out and running.

Did someone say hobo's

Yes no sooner did someone ask about where the hobo's were they moved into Buckwillsville. 

The wee people finally got Victoria Station up at Grand Station. 

Now some deer are awfully near by, and I hear there are some hunters coming in the next few days on the train.  They best get movin on..

Train Yard Names

Ok, someone in the family wanted me to name the train yard.  So I decided to name the individual area's of the train yard to honor most of the family.  If your a women and did not sprout a bunch of kids most likely your new last name will not show up, sorry, but I had to cut if off sometplace. 

Ok this shot formally known as Track #1 is now Hinfartur Town, standing for Hinde, Farrar, and Turco. 

Ok, this shot the outer loop formally known as track #2 is Buckwills Ville for my cousin's, aunts, uncles Buckel and Williams. 

This shot the inner loop with the scenic over look, is Glideseitz Land, for cousin's, aunts, uncle's Glidden and my sister Penne's & her husband Max's family since they sprouted a ton of kids, which begat more kids, I hope before I die I can be a great Uncle.  LOL..  

  
This next shot is lake Bratton, again my uncle's and aunts, and their kids.  Another large bunch. 

This next shot is Christy River for Grandma and Grandpa Christy since that name basically went with them to my knowledge. 

This shot is Grand Station.  Sounds dull well it is for all of the grandma's and grandpa's both living and with God who have created the large family.  Which includes my own parents and all of my uncles and aunts. 

This pond is named called Inclusive Falls, which is for all of the extended family members and close friends.

Pile of dirt idea turns into hill with tunnel

For those of you who have read past posts you know I had a pile of dirt within Track 1.  I used it for a wee people scene.  Well last night I started thinking of what more to do with it.  So basically here is what transformed.  I know I need to work on erosion and beautification.  All ideas are welcome.

This is the original hill with some equipment to help me move it. 

While the wee people worked on moving the dirt I started on infrastructure.  Just pieces of brick I had no use for at this time. 

Wee People and Copter - March 23 2013

Well the weather was really kind of cruddy today.  So did not do any thing of major but got some wee people in, and oh yeah, I am trying to learn how to fly a remote Helicopter to get a shot over the train yard when I have the trains out, which seems its going to be a week. 

Here is the copter.  Yesterday was my first flight day and I crashed on the roof of the house, in the train yard, and into a tree.  So it will be several more flights before I trust myself to buzz the running trains. 

A few people have told me that I am making good progress on the train yard.  Now you know why, I got help from the wee people. 

Sometimes it is hard to keep them working.
