Fort Worth Christmas Tree Lighting

Tis was the day before a big winter storm, it rained in the morning and it was predicted to continue doing the same so we cancelled the limo that was going to drive us to FW (FortWorth) and as the night continued the rain stopped so we decided to go anyway on our own. 

This is the new canopy light thing they put up this year in FW. 

This is a water fall just below the canopy thingy.

Here is an example of too many folks to get a good shot, but this was the best out of about 7 using two different camera.  This is in the FED area, not really sure which building this is. It is not the court house that much I know as I have been called more times than I can count to jury duty. 

While waiting for the tree lighting the Girls Choir sang Christmas songs.  They were rather good.

The actual tree lighting was running very late so we decided to head to the Flying Sourcer Bar.   This place has been in business for ever and anyone who lives in this area has been here at one time or another.  It is truly a must stop.  BTW, there heaters pictured here, sure do not throw off much heat.  I was going to get one, now I do not think so. 

Inside the the bar they have this great dish wall just beside the wall of honor, to get on the wall of honor you need to consume over 200 beers.  Of course not on one night.  Now as hind sight I should have shot that.
