This is just photo shots that I take that do not pertain to motorcycle riding.

A BBQ at Philip's house Sunday Jan 27 2013
Here it is January 27th and we have a temp reading right now of 70.3. I love Texas, so Philip a good friend of mine decided it was time for a cook out. We had, Rib Eye Steaks, Crab Legs, Tuna, Sword Fish, Salmon, Shrimp, Allegroton Potatoes, Corn on the Cob, and Val had a sweet tator and there was only 5 of us. As soon I as I finish publishing this, I am going to either work in the yard, or play with my trains and then take a good long nap.
First shot when I first got there Philip and his nephew Danial.
Got the Hickory Flavored Coals going.
The fish department, we used the crab legs as an appetizer.
The after meal look.
Our Biker Nomes Jan 27 2013
Here are two additions to our nome collection. We get a kick out of them. Our friend Diana got them for us.

Dogs are not dumb Jan 25th 2013
Ok, so you think dogs are dumb. Well let me tell you just how dumb they are not. Not every night but nearly every night I give them a made in the USA bone between 7-8 PM. Once the sun goes down, first the little one, Ricki starts getting playful.
You will note the two bones behind Ricki, those are not made in the USA, they are too big (I guess) and too hard (again just guessing) but either way they have been there now for a few days basically untouched. So the little courtship begins for the bones she wants. First Ricki comes out and starts by making me think she wants to play with her toy. She growls and starts bitting the toy on my foot.
This is Lucy who just a few minutes ago was laying on the chair but with the noise Ricki was making and the time of night she starts with the eyes. She is still in the house behind the glass doors, and of course I am ignoring her.
So I eventually let Lucy out and now the serious butt kissing starts.
The world is at peace, after Lucy climbed in my lap, licked my face, etc., etc.,. They get their bone.

Chili Day Jan 20th 2013
Well not sure if temps ever hit 70 or not today but it sure was warm enough to brew up some Chili and watch some football on the deck. Someone asked me what I was doing today and I said making Chili. They replied "all day?", yup indeed and here is why.
First you need to clear out all leaves from the fire pit area.
Then you start the fire and water down the area. About 45 minutes have gone by so far.
Then you get the cleaning water heated up. One for washing and one for rinsing. When your going to cook something over several hours you need a lot of utensils or you need to wash more often. I tend to wash from time to time.
Now to start browning the meat. At this point about 90 minutes have passed and all of a sudden while browning the meat the dogs start hovering around. Also notice the propane tanks are gone.
Now 2 general shots waiting on the meat to brown.
Added the powders and two serano peppers.
Start making Chili and not only do the dogs show up, but Val shows up with the dogs.
Then Diana, Michelle, and Payton stopped by to see the place, Michelle had some Chili and Payton he liked all the trains. They brought on over two rocks Diana got from Colorado, a cool little train depot, and two crazy Nomes. I will take pics of them on the next nice day and post them on FB or here.

Train Show in Fort Worth Jan 5th 2013
A buddy, Phillip and myself went to the train show in Fort Worth today. It was a good trip followed by a good lunch. Anyway Here are some shots from the show. The shots are not exceptionaly clear as I did not want to use flash but I had to shoot quickly as folks kept moving around so it was basically a point and shoot scenario.
The cool thing about the picture below is that those figures below the bridge are gathered around a fire. The fire being a little led light but it was cool.
I did not get the meaning of this, but Philip thinks the point is "just bury me with my trains".
This little N gage train used up I would say at least 30 feet of track, it had 5 engines pulling it.
